Call to Action

Our new end-to-end travel and expense management solution will create a better overall experience for University travelers, travel arrangers, and financial officers. We need your help! Below are a few things you can do to help insure that you have the best experience when the new Travel at State solution is rolled out in Spring 2019.

  1. Complete your travel profile in Concur by making sure all of your information is up to date and adding missing information specific to you such as Contact information, travel preferences, frequent traveler membership numbers, personal credit card (for hotel reservations), Known Traveler Number, and Travel Arrangers.
  2. Have a travel profile? If not, build one today by completing the short application on the MSU Travel at State website (under “Build Profile”). Once complete and approved, Frosch Travel eServices will send you an invitation to complete your travel profile in Concur.
  3. Verify that your name in your travel profile matches your name in your frequent traveler membership programs so that you get full credit for flights, hotel stays, car rentals.
  4. Join travel loyalty programs. Michigan State University has strategic contracts with Delta Air Lines, American Airlines, United Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Intercontinental Hotel Group, Club Quarters, Wyndham Hotel Group, National Rent a Car, and Enterprise Car Rental. Earn frequent traveler points by joining these programs and when used through MSU’s Preferred Travel Agencies, gain additional benefits as university travelers.
  5. Travel administrators: Update your travelers’ profiles in Concur Travel by verifying that you are listed as their travel arranger so you are able to assist and support them before, during, and after they travel
  6. Verify and update your emergency contact information in “My Personal Information” section of EBS. When MSU goes “live” this information will update your travel profile.
  7. Attend a Concur Travel class. Monthly classes, with dates and times posted on Travel at State, are open to MSU faculty and staff.
  8. Participate in bi-weekly surveys and look at previous survey results answers from your peers.
  9. Join the MSU Travel at State list serve.
